There is a party in Taurus this month and everyone is invited! What does that mean for you? Each sign will be different, but a New Moon, Uranus, Mercury, and Venus will all gather in one area of your life to completely, and unexpectedly, change it from the ground up. This will be an exciting time, so be prepared for the unexpected. Mars will also be changing signs mid-month, motivating you to finally get through that Spring to-do list. The month ends as the Sun and Mercury move houses together, bringing in new opportunities to shout about from the rooftops. Enjoy your successes this month and shout away!

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

What times will you rehearse? What is your teaching schedule like? What items will you need for your studio and how will that effect the home budget?

Venus joins the party in your 4th house of home and family on May 16th. This is a good time to pick out decorative items for your home studio space. Go shopping! Look for inspirational pieces of art, colorful throw pillows and rugs, soothing water fountains, welcoming mirrors, and comforting lighting.

Mars moves into your 6th house of daily work and health routines on May 16th. You will be on fire at work beginning mid-month. Practice all of the things. Teach all of the lessons. Run from rehearsal to rehearsal with ease. Does one of your colleagues need a sub? Volunteer! Does the stage manager need a few extra hands to help with rehearsal set-up/take down? Roll up your sleeves and get to work!

Venus will help smooth over any difficult passages in your writing, so use this energy to proofread what you can and make graceful connections between the endings of thoughts and the beginnings of new topics. This is often one of the most complicated parts about writing.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This new opportunity will suddenly appear at the beginning of the month. It may be a good idea to prepare your excerpts early in the event that a last minute audition notice pops up with a very prestigious local ensemble.

Repair what needs to be repaired. Donate what can be donated. Finally scan the music that needs to be scanned into your electronic files and donate scores you no longer need to a local music library.

A Full Moon appears in your 8th house of banking and finance. on May 18th. You could be making a final payment on your new flute or depositing a final bit of money into your savings account for a new headjoint. Good job! It will be quite an accomplishment to close the chapter on this financial arrangement.
