The 2nd Croation Flute Meeting is scheduled for November 17-19, 2023 in Hrvarska, Croatia, featuring Peter Lukas Graf, Ana Batinica, Philippe Bernold, Silvia Carredu, Yubeen Kim, Barthold Kuijken, Mike Mower, Jan Ostry, Gaby Pas-Van Riet, Vincens Prats, Nathalie Rozat, and Zagrebački flute ensemble. Co-organized by Hong Kong Flute Association and Hong Kong Flute Academy, the (HKIFC) will be held in person from May 1-4, 2024. The Tampere Flute Festival and competitions will take place April 26-28, 2024 in Finland. Festival details are not yet posted, but the deadline for the Young Artist Competition is January 8, 2024 while the deadline for the Young Performer Competition is January 11, 2024. The 4th Cahit Koparal International Flute Competition will take place in Marmaris, Turkey from June 24-30, 2024. With prizes of €3700 in total, the competition includes 3 concert awards with distinguished symphony orchestras in Turkey and an invitation award to the 2025 Flaut Festival in Italy. Open to flutists born after July 1, 1996, the application deadline for the competition – for which the preliminary auditions will be held online - is January 19, 2024. Open to flutists of any nationality born between 1992 and 2008, the International Franz and Carl Doppler Flute Competition will be held in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines from April 1-7, 2024. Applications will be accepted between August 1-November 15, 2023 for which the first round will be online, with the second through fourth rounds being held on site.
