How has the Pandemic affected your career?

A lot of concerts were canceled (a Japan tour 💔 was the most heartbreaking)  and some concerts were postponed.

What creative ways have you focused on to combat the challenges brought forward by the pandemic?

It is a difficult time for everybody but to open new ways to improve yourself, in many ways is priceless.

In personal way, the challenge has been to keep good mental health.

I focused more on teaching during this period which inspires me a lot  in my life as an artist.

It seems that Russia was not in lockdown for as long as Europe or USA. What do you think?

We were lucky to go through lockdown faster than in Europe and USA. Concert life is almost back in full range.

It is possible to travel through the country and meet with friends.

What does your schedule look like for the next 6 months?

I have a busy summer with 3 sessions of my Stachinskaya school.

I look forward to judging  the First  Razbaum Competition organized by Moscow Flute Center  in the middle of June together with a great jury team:  Ulla Miilmann, Silvia Careddu, Philipp Jundt, Denis Loupachev. My dear friend Nikolay Plotnikov established The Moscow Magic flute center in 2015. We have many common ideas and aims to popularize flute in Russia. This competition named after Albert Razbaum,  a fantastic soviet  flute player.

I am planning my October Siberia - Ural tour  right now. Also I have the Third Flute Festival in Nizhny Novgorod where I am happy to be an artistic director together with Andrey Malych. This will held in November.

What are your goals personally?  Professionally?

Personally - I would like to feel more stress-free in the world and with human imperfections (mine as well😁)

Yachting!!!

Professionally, my goals would include increasing repertoire with new concerts and pieces; and to have more concert opportunities to show it to the public.

What inspires you the most in life?

My family. Love. Friends. Challenges.

What has been your greatest challenge?

It is a daily problem - laziness. (Joking)

Keeping my own style in music and way of living.

What is the most exciting thing in your life right now?

I am happy to live everyday, trying to improve. I am working on my doctoral degree.

What are you completely bored with right now?

Preparing for my musicologist exam.

What is keeping you busy these days?

Preparing for a tour next days. Practice.

One habit you wish you could break?

I like to sleep a lot 😄

If you had a super power, what would it be?

Let it be the Power of Levitation.

What is one thing you wish you knew at 19?

Trust in myself

What is your Spirit Animal?

Cat 🐈
