Welcome to March! Spring is just around the corner and thanks to the union of Zodiac powerhouses Venus and Mars, there will be new energy to follow your passions this month. Revisit those New Year’s Resolutions that you set back in January. Are you on track with your goals or has life gotten in the way? Rethink your approach. You may have been executing actions plans based on the suggestions of others rather than what you truly want. Venus will encourage you to enjoy the process while Mars will energize you to accomplish small, measurable goals each day. Remember – goal setting is a process. Strive to be 1% better every day and reward yourself for any wins along the way. Mercury is also fairly active this month. Aim for clear, purposeful interactions with, well, everyone. Mean what you say and say what you mean. The theme for March is to be genuine in your thoughts, actions, and words. Live for you!

Follow any super-sudden whims of inspiration and sign up for any new seemingly golden opportunities.
March 6 – Venus and Mars move into your 12th house of behind-the-scenes activities. When Venus and Mars move together, you will fall back in love with practicing the flute. You may even find a new piece to add to your repertoire that really speaks to you. Play from the heart.
March 9 – Mercury moves into your 1st house of identity. Mercury will encourage you to say what you mean and mean what you say. Ask for whatever it is that you need from others. This could be with a student or a colleague or even a conductor with whom you do not see eye to eye. The Full Moon will ask you to have a very honest conversation with them. Something needs to change and compromises may need to be made. If there are no solutions, you may need to end this connection and look for other more positive influences in your life.
